A feisty 3.7m male was our first shark to turn up today, after about an hour’s wait time, but he arrived in full force! It was a male that we do recognize but haven’t seen for about a week or so, and his personality is always an energetic one. After a few casual passes to check the scene out he started with his classic ambushes from below, managing to surprise everyone on board. Our largest shark of the day was also a male approximately 4.1m, and his girth was just as impressive as his length! He certainly did seem to dwarf all the other sharks swimming around especially our two active juveniles both averaging around 2.6m. Our first feisty male of the day stayed with us throughout the entire trip, providing the divers with some incredible up close and personal passes, and succeeding in being our last shark sighting for today.  Another fantastic morning spent with amazing animals…
