If you see two predations take place on one trip, you know it’s been a very good day. We were very lucky to pick up sharks very quickly on both our trips. To our surprise a young seal was determined to seek shelter underneath our boat amidst the frenzy of sharks circling the cage. This cute seal was playing hide and seek for quite some time; we saw another young seal get taken some distance away. Its frantic leaps out of the water were not enough to save it and neither was the hide and seek tactic used by the seal under the boat. They both fell victim to the Apex Predator of the sea. The largest sharks were two very large females over the 4.5 meter margin on our second trip. Great day for sharks…
