Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 12.2’C
Depth: 9.01m
Visibility: 4.0m
Number of Sharks: 7+10
Conditions: Overcast + windy

The colder water temperatures were a trade off today for the fantastic visibility! Over the past two days we’ve had the best visibility we’ve seen in a while, a welcome sight indeed. The sharks were quick with their arrival again, and it was shark after shark swimming around the cage. For the most part they were staying just underneath the surface of the water, but we did have two smaller sharks on the feisty side, lunging for the decoy and bait line. We had lots of large females giving us up close passes throughout the trips, including “Maureen” the satellite tagged shark who was our largest visitor today at roughly 4.5m. Hopefully this awesome visibility stays with us for a while…
