A very nice weather day with Great White Sharks, Southern Right Whales, Suicidal Cape fur Seals and some awesome birdlife made for a good day on the water. Nat Geo was also out on two of our research boats today and for the rest of the week. They are working with us in an attempt to get a Great White Sharks perspective by mounting cameras on the sharks in a non invasive manner. We were lucky enough to see a shark with a camera swim by the cage, that footage will show some very perplexed divers in the water. A Southern Right Whale mother and calf pair also passed by in the distance on our first trip. A Cape Gannet catching a fish and a Caspian Tern overhead just added to the species richness. We also had a very playful seal playing cat and mouse with a shark, what a brave little seal. What a day…

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Great White Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
