We managed to dodge the rain this afternoon as the conditions cleared up quicker than expected and the large swells never appeared. We had our first shark in minutes and before long our first group were enjoying whites in great visibility. We had several sub-adults and some adult males. We sighted an Ocearch SPOT tagged shark as well but it moved on as quickly as it arrived without giving us a chance to identify it. All in all we’d reached 9 sharks before we were about to call it time but just then a large female arrived to give us the biggest sighted white shark of the trip.
