We were yet again blessed with almost tropical water temperatures and amazing shark sightings! The largest shark was a 4.0m male who really stole the show. Not only did we have fantastic shark sightings, we were accompanied to our anchor site by a pod of bottle nose dolphins feeding on a bait ball of fish, along with spectacular (diving) Cape Gannets. From an almost ‘sardine run style’ scene, to white sharks underwater our guests were spoiled! Well done to Ruan Wessels, a first time cage diver who had travelled to SA to stay with his father, a local fisherman from Gansbaai Ian Wessels. Ian has a wealth of knowledge and experience on the Western Cape waters and Ruan certainly has his fathers genes, he enjoyed the white sharks and cage diving exerience with them immensely!
If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in South Africa, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
