What a day! We were lucky enough to spot the “Marine Big Five” today and not just a glimpse either! We had an abundance of sharks, whales, seals, dolphins and penguins at sea today which made this a very special shark cage diving experience for all on board! We were so lucky to have both a Southern Right Whale and a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins swimming alongside each other and this was at the start of our trip! Thereafter some tremendous shark activity followed with some very close passes. The biggest shark was over the 4 meter margin and the guests deemed it fit to name this large female shark “Lizzy”. Sorry to all the Lizzy’s out there in the world :)! What amazing diversity we have in our seas….
