If you see Southern Right Whales at the start of you shark cage diving tour, you know it’s going to be a great day. On route towards our dive site we spotted a pair of Southern Right Whales who were just relaxing in the water. It is a magnificent creature in both size and personality and it was a wonderful bonus sighting to add to the trip. The first few sharks we had around the boat were some of the smaller individuals that we have in the area at the moment. Everyone was under the impression that these were the massive Great White Sharks which they came to see, then SHE arrived. One of two large females over the four meter margin and she truly put size into perspective. Lots of really close passes by the cage and even a few jumps made for a great day on the water.
