The sharks started off on the slower side today, but ended both trips with a bang! On the first trip it was the same 3.7m female, with a prominent rosi on her dorsal fin, from yesterday who turned up towards the end of the trip and provided lots of up close passes and toothy photos for all the clients on board. For the second trip, we decided to move anchor spots and were treated to an impressive sighting of a 4.3m shark who gave the divers in the cage a few nice passes. Cage diving is great to do any day of the year, but also a memorable way to celebrate a milestone, and today we had a client who decided to celebrate his 50th birthday by making a dream come true and getting in the water with a Great White shark; Happy Birthday Leslie! I’m sure it was a birthday he won’t soon forget…
