We anchored back at the island today, just at the mouth of Shark Alley, and success we had! It was real winter conditions with a short wait time, shark numbers in the double digits and incredible visibility! The largest shark we saw today was a male that we estimated at just under 5m. It wasn’t only the sharks putting on a show for us however, we got a rather impressive bird show today as well.  We saw a large flock of Cape Cormorants flying away from Dyer Island just as we arrived at our dive site, and during the trip we spotted White-Chinned Petrels as well as quite a few Wilson’s Storm-Petrels putting on a dance just above the water.  We also went to view the Cape Fur Seals on Geyser Rock, it truly was a day packed full of beautiful Wildlife…-Helen
