We were so forutnate to see amazing sharks in super clean visibilty today! After a few days of very strong east winds, the water temperature plummeted down from 18 Celcius to 12 degrees Celcius in one week! However, with this came beautiful clear water and this made for some great diving. Six sharks graced us with their presence, first to arrive were three male sharks 2.8-3.5 m (TL) long. During the last hour a westerly wind began to pick up, with this our current changed and at the same time three very large female sharks showed up. One of these girls had fresh bite marks on the side of her head from another shark, we estmiated her length at 4.5m (TL). This great trip was finsihed off with a trip to the beach to observe a large female white shark patrolling the surf, we then ran up to Dyer Island to photograph the newly born cape fur seal pups in Shark Alley.
