Location: Geldsteen
Water Temperature: 15.1 ‘C
Depth: 11.3m
Visibility: 8.0m
Number of Sharks: 16
Conditions: Overcast with swell and wind.

Sharks all over the show today, 16 different Great Whites are definitely not an average day. Despite the chilly and overcast conditions, the sharks were very quick to arrive on a Monday morning. Normally we all know how things go on a Monday morning, however today was the complete opposite. Several large sharks around the boat with the added bonus of seeing a Remora attached to the pectoral fin of a shark. Just hitching a ride, it would seem :)! We also spotted a Southern Right Whale towards the end of our dive; we almost thought that it would come close enough to be seen from the cage. Great day out…
