There were rumours that the shark action was a bit slow in the bay in the morning; 13 sharks later I must say, I don’t think so :)! You might have thought that it was your typical mid summers day, that’s how perfectly warm the conditions were on land and out at sea. We also had a bit of a wait for the sharks to arrive, but eventually they showed up and gave some great passes. We did experience a wind shift a few hours into the trip; this caused a shift in the surface current and changed the direction of our chum line. The lost the sharks for a bit, but they followed their noses and found us again. A Southern Right Whale sighting and a visit to Shark Alley were the perfect ways to conclude the day’s action. Brilliant…
