An amazingly beautiful start to spring without a single cloud in the sky and very calm seas.

What a perfect way to begin the spring season! There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky today and the seas were as calm as could be. The morning began a bit slow, with the first shark approaching the boat after an hours wait. It was worth the wait! A beautiful 2.8 meter shark gave our divers quite a show as it passed the cage numerous times. This shark was then followed by a slightly smaller shark, measuring at 1.8 meters who stuck around for almost an hour. This second shark had very distinct marks with a very black edged dorsal fin. It did multiple in front of the cage and even attempted some breaching. A short-tailed stingray also came by the cage, gliding in and out of view! In total three sharks came to the boat and all of our divers were very lucky to have such a great interaction on such a beautiful day. The second trip was just as fortunate as the first. The weather and seas remained gorgeous and calm and 4 sharks in all came to inspect our divers, bait, and decoy. The largest shark to come by was a beautiful 3.8 meter female and the smallest was a pale and clean 1.8 meter juvenille with no distinguishing markings. Our second trip was also lucky as they too were able to witness another short-tailed stingray passing the cage multiple times and even checking out our bait line. It was such a wonderful way to begin the spring season: perfect skies and seas, multiple sharks and even a rare stingray!
