Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Bryde’s whale, Short-tail Stingrays, Cape fur seals + Cape gannets
Summary: A morning of incredible marine diversity! Launching from Gansbaai Harbour to accommodate the low tide, we made our way past the scenic Danger Point, where our first encounter awaited. A usually shy species, the Bryde’s whale surfaced multiple times, offering a close encounter for guests on board. Continuing towards the dive site, Bronze whaler sharks promptly arrived and guests were soon ready to join them in the water. Large individuals and improved visibility provided great sightings, topped off by the addition of three different Short-tail stingrays! A great morning on the water, thank you to everyone who joined us on board Slashfin!
