Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 15.9°C + 16.1°C

Depth: 8.5m + 8.3m

Visibility: 0.5m + 0.5m

Conditions: Overcast with a slight swell and little wind.

It was a short trip to our dive site today as we headed out to sea. We arrived at our site and soon the crew had the cage in the water and our divers received their wetsuits. Afterwards it was a short wait while our onboard marine biologist chatted to our guests about the various sharks found in the area. Luckily it wasn’t too long until our first Copper shark popped it’s head up. She was soon followed by another, before a small great white reared her head around. She was quickly followed by Clubtail, who entertained our divers for a while. A few more white sharks came around for a brief visit, and later a short-tailed stingray visited the cage. Despite the cloudy sky and slight swell, it turned into an amazing trip out at sea.
