As we headed out into a wonderfully calm morning, we had one thing on the mind! Sharks! And it wasn’t long before we had our first great white. As our divers had just geared up we got our first one, a small 1.8m shark that tapped the decoy line and then off it went. Soon followed by a large 3m female that got very up close and personal with our first group of divers! She cruised around for this first cage and then off she went to enjoy the rest of her morning. With 2 sharks under our belts we were eager for more. And after a bit of a wait we were rewarded with a 3.5m shark that swam very deep under the cage, and then followed by our star girl, Clampy! This 4m female glided under the boat and towards our cage divers with such grace. As she cruised around we finished up our trip and headed back to the harbour!

For our second trip we headed out into a beautifully warm winters morning. While we had to wait a little longer than the first trip, we got ourselves a shark. One of the males currently in the bay measuring in at approximately 3.0m and sporting a nice identifying feature in the form of a rosie, or white pigmented mark, on the left side of his tail. So we got our divers in the cage and got to enjoy the shark cruising around in some lovely visibility this morning. While we only had one shark on this trip, the activity we did have was stunning, with some awesome passes by the cage, we had some very happy guests on board today!
