Depth: 8.6m

Visibility: 1.5m

Conditions: flat beautiful day.

It was a beautiful morning as we headed out to sea. We soon arrived in The Shallows and our divers jumped into their wetsuits. The Copper sharks immediately arrived and our divers climbed in the cage. The Copper sharks showed some amazing activity as the swam around the cage. However, we got word that a famous visitor was in the area, so we quickly lifted the anchor and relocated. Once we arrived at our new spot, our crew kept their eyes on the surrounding waters, and soon the dark shape of a Great White Shark was seen. The shark briefly stayed away from the boat, before finally approaching. Initially we thought the shark was Scarlett, but later photo identification confirm her to be Clubtail, a female that has been seen in the Gansbaai area several times. Our guests were delighted as the white shark passed by our vessel multiple times. A brave Cape fur seal briefly visited our vessel as well. With the such an amazing day at sea, almost didn’t want to leave at all.
