For our first trip today we launched in stunning sunshine and arrived to our anchor site in great time. This morning’s trip was ruled by our two lovely ladies that we have had over the last couple of weeks, Scarlett & Sarko! Scarlett was in a lazy mood this morning giving us some intermittent but beautiful passes. Sarko gave us a couple of more energetic passes as she seemed to be in a better mood.
The second trip launched with an increase in the wind but still a beautiful day out on the water. We arrived on anchor and just as our guests were getting into their wetsuits our first shark arrived. This was ‘Scarlett’, and this trip saw her coming back numerous times with slow passes by the cage and spyhopping every now and again allowing us all a fantastic view. With ‘Scarlett’ disappearing for a while we had multiple Copper sharks appear, whilst these have been seen quite frequently over the last few days they are not a common occurrence around our boat in the past however today we had four different Copper sharks seen, at one point we could see all four circling just in front of the cage. Not to steal the show the White sharks then reappeared with a new juvenile male sighted for the day and ‘Sarko’ coming back for a visit, kicking things up a notch with some semi breaches. We also encountered a Short-tailed stingray, curiously gliding up to investigate what was going on. A fantastic way to end a beautiful day!
