Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + Cape fur seals
Summary: An early morning launch from Kleinbaai Harbour to get ahead of increasing winds in the afternoon. A short journey to the dive site, with a slight breeze and low swell, we were soon dropping anchor and ready to welcome the first sightings of the day. The Bronze whaler sharks offered great activity, with multiple mature individuals frequenting the water before the cage, offering an up close sighting of these incredible animals. A curious Cape fur seal was seen playfully navigating between sharks, secure in knowing these Bronze whalers do not see them as a food item! A successful morning adventure, thank you to everyone who joined us on board Slashfin today!
