Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Broadnose sevengill cowshark

Trip 1.

We were all prepared for a little westerly wind today! Luckily the warm summer sun was out to keep us warm. As soon as we anchored our divers changed quickly into their wetsuits and were ready to get in with the Bronze whaler sharks, that were already waiting! We enjoyed the beautifully clear visibility and plenty of sharks throughout the whole trip, and just before we left our anchor site, a male Cape fur seal wished us goodbye!

Trip 2.

We started off our second trip later in the morning. The wind was blowing but it was nice and warm and the swell was rather low. As we got to the anchor the sharks came to us almost immediately! We had so much fun diving with bronze whalers, and even a cape fur seal popped by to say hello. And as a cherry on top – we had a broadnose sevengill shark coming to us too, with a few brief but exciting sightings.
