Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Common dolphins, Cape fur seal

Trip Summary: An early departure for our first trip of the day, heading into some small swell and low wind. At the dive site, good visibility meant that the first arrival of the Bronze whaler sharks were easy to spot. Ready in their wetsuits, divers were soon in the water and experiencing their front row seat to the sharks in their natural environment. As well as the Bronze whalers, 3 Short-tail stingrays made an appearance, amongst curious Cape fur seals throughout the day. The first trip also had the chance to spot a pod of around 200 Common dolphins on our way to the islands where we were able to see the impressive Cape fur seals’ colony.
