Another stunning day to be at sea! The skies were cloud free with a light breeze to keep away the heat but not the sharks! Today’s trips were quite lucky! Not only was there little to no wait for sharks to appear, but they came in numbers. Our first trip had a total of 8 different sharks! Of these 8 we know 2 very well and have named them “Parry” and “Bitey.” Parry has been around a lot lately and always puts on a great show. Today he did not dissapoint! He and 4 other sharks were all highly active, going for the decoy and bait line at full speed, launching themselves out of the water. Our second trip was just as eventful, with “Parrys” return. He was joined by another shark we’ve been calling “Ziggy.” These two sharks kept playing with the decoy, alternating between who would come up to inspect it. We also had a shark come by that had a large portion of the top of its caudal fin missing. This looked most likely that it was due to a bite injury. All in all, it was another wonderful day with amazing sharks!
