Cloudy skies didn’t dampen the shark activity today. We headed up to the Geldsteen for our anchor spot. After a short wait, we had continuous sharks throughout the morning. All of the cages had fantastic views and some very close looks at the sharks. Maureen made a quick appearance but did not stay around for long. Her size continues to impress everyone who sees her. It is so nice to see a sexually mature female back again after her travels. One couple was so impressed by the sharks that they are coming back again for a second day. We love to see shark enthusiasts and hope for another great day tomorrow.
The second trip picked right up where the first left off. Although we didn’t see as many different sharks on this trip, the activity was steady throughout. A shark we tagged about 3 weeks ago showed up for both trips. She was tagged right in Shark Alley, but has now been seen both on the Geldsteen and in the shallows. We can’t wait to see where she goes after leaving our little bay. Congrats to our honeymoon couple for braving the waters together. Come back and see us on your anniversary!
