With a busy day ahead of us on the shark cage diving boat we headed to the shallows nice and early! As we approached our dive site for this morning, we got ourselves geared up into our suits to get up close with the sharks! We had sharks around Slashfin pretty quickly this morning, and our divers excitedly clambered into the cage to catch a glimpse at the sharks in their world. With some lovely passes close by the cage, our divers in the water were in awe of the spectacle the sharks were giving us this morning. We had a couple of tagged individuals cruising passed the cage this morning as well, demonstrating the push to understand these sharks a little bit more than what we already know of these guys! With a stingray towards the end of the trip, we started to wrap up the trip and headed back to the harbour.

For our second trip, we headed right back out to our cage in the shallows where the sharks returned towards the cage within minutes. Our divers hopped into the cage and got eye to eye to these beautiful sharks! With the copper sharks activity pretty consistent with our first few cages, we got our eyes on another short tailed stingray! With our last group of divers in the water and some more stunning activity, our divers were thoroughly entertained and happy with their cage dive experience.

Next up trip three, we returned to our cage and had our divers ready for the sharks! Our divers got into the cage and headed into the warm afternoon water! With the sharks seemingly becoming more lucid in the sunshine, we had some fantastic sightings from the boat and the cage as we basked in the sunshine.

Finally we headed out for our last trip and arrived in the shallows for some more shark fun! With the bronzies around again in moments, we were able to run our divers straight into the water. Activity was similar from our previous trips, with stunning sharks and beautiful sunshine. We got a couple of nice sightings of the stingrays on this trip as well! Our final group of divers clambered in the cage and got our last few passes from the day. As we cleaned up and hauled the cage on to Slashfin, we began our journey back to the harbour, with the warm evening sunshine still beating on.
