Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, African penguins, Cape fur seal+ Short-tail stingray
Summary: A wildlife filled day out at sea for us! The first trip launched from Kleinbaai Harbour, with clear skies and lower swell awaiting us. Before arriving at the dive site, we sighted a small raft of the critically endangered African penguins out in search of some prey. Dropping anchor, the Bronze whaler sharks were not hesitant to welcome us, with divers getting into their wetsuits as the shark numbers increased. Impressively sized, the Bronze whalers offered up close sightings. The Short-tail stingray was next to arrive, emerging from deeper waters and showing off around the bait lines, leaving guests in awe of their size. The shark activity carried well into the second trip of the day, allowing for a successful time on the water.
