Today we launched a little later from the Kleinbaai harbour. Arrived at the anchor spot we dropped the cage and got everything ready for the dive, when we heard someone saying that there is already a shark around our vessel. We are very spoiled these days with the sharks they won’t let us wait for long. On our first trip we spotted seven different sharks during the trip all around three meters, with the biggest one estimated at three and a half. Due to springtide we couldn’t go straight back into the harbour so we decided to add a little bonus to the great shark sightings and made our way to Geyser Rock, home to the Cape Fur seals.

On our second trip for the day we had sharks straight away. Same as on the previous trip most of the sharks we saw were juveniles around three meters. One of them was ‘Mini Nemo’ a feisty little male who likes to surprise us from the deep. Mini Nemo was around the boat most of the time and entertained us well. The shark activity was constantly good and we definitely cherish seeing these beautiful creatures in their habitat.

We had an amazing third trip around the boat with 10 different sharks around. At times, there were two or even three of these majestic creatures around the cage, giving us some beautiful views. Our first shark arrived as soon as we had re attached the cage and we also got to see one of our favourites, Mini Nemo. This not so little guy pulled his favourite move, ambushing our decoy and exposing his beautiful white belly. This was awesome to see and definitely the highlight of the trip.
