This mornings’ trip was for a group visiting from the United Kingdom. We headed into the Shallows to get our day started and had a White shark glide by after just a 20 minute wait, this was an average sized female that was closely followed by a male similar in size. Soon after “Rosie” arrived and stole the attention and hearts of those on board. It is hard to describe a shark as sweet but if ever there was one it would be “Rosie”, she is slow, curious but careful as she moves closely around the boat and cage! We also had a larger male come on by, one that we see a few times a year and a smaller male with the tip of the dorsal fin rolled, which in no way affected his movement. The second trip of the day launched with some noticably stronger winds but this didn’t deter our White sharks that came back this afternoon in droves including many of the sharks we had this morning but also with some new individuals working their way into the mix.A nice day out in the bay…
