The first trip of the day started bright and early, and the sharks were active right from the off. We were again visited by Pieter, the small 2.5 m male white shark who was tagged with an acoustic tag but unfortunately has managed to shed it at some point along his travels. He was very inquisitive of the bait. We were also visited by an interesting shark who has an old dorsal fin wound, most likely from a propeller. It has now heeled but left his dorsal fin in two with one section folded over. He is very slow and calm around the bait and decoy and swam right along the cage for the guests to see the beauty of this animal. 11 sharks made for a busy and action packed morning. The second trip had 6 sharks at the boat throughout the trip. Pieter and the slashed dorsal shark were both still interested for a while. A couple of stingrays also came up to the surface to investigate the decoy and bait.  Trip 3 had an action packed trip with sharks very active around the boat. A beautiful 4 m white shark came in and passed right by our guests in the cage, impressing them with his immense size and grace. Another great day on the Big Blue!
