Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seal + Subantarctic skua
Summary: Today’s trips were nothing short of incredible! Calm conditions and plenty of wildlife made for a great time, starting off with Bronze whaler sharks consisting of both male and female individuals. Our next arrival was the Short-tail stingray, gracefully moving in front of the cage and offering an up close experience for those in the cage and on board. To tick off the sharks for the day, a total of 3 Broadnose sevengill sharks were sighted, uniquely patterned, allowing individual identification. With 3 elasmobranch species witnessed, crew and guests were able to grant this as a day for the books. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure sharing these sightings with you all!
