Sightings: Short-tail Stingrays + Cape fur seals
Summary: Today’s adventure began with an exciting encounter with not one, but two Short-tail Stingrays! One of them was particularly memorable, sporting the unmistakable large injury of an old shark bite. After spending some time at our first location, we decided to relocate the boat closer to shore in hopes of spotting some sharks. Unfortunately, the elusive predators remained out of sight this time. But that’s the beauty of nature, it’s always unpredictable! To round off the trip, we cruised into the ever-reliable Shark Alley, where we were met by a spectacular display of thousands of lively Cape fur seals. A huge thank you to all our wonderful guests for joining us today. We hope you enjoyed the journey, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in the future!
