Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, African Penguin, Cape fur seals + Bryde’s whales

Summary: Another fantastic day out with our guests and crew! We kicked things off at Shark Alley, where our guests were treated to the incredible sight of thousands of Cape fur seals relaxing in the channel. From there, we cruised past Dyer Island and were lucky enough to spot a few critically endangered African penguins. We then made our way to our dive site in the bay, where Bronze whaler sharks wasted no time and swam in close to our cage divers. On the return journey to Kleinbaai Harbour, we were rewarded with some amazing close encounters with a Bryde’s whale. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today!
