“Made our trip. Opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you for taking us to see some great white sharks. Loved it!!” – Heidi

“30 years in the waiting for a dream come true.” – Clive

Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 14.2 C
Depth: 7.9
Visibility: 1.5m
Number of Sharks: 2
Conditions: Rain stopped just as we headed out

We were so fortunate today to have 2 different sharks come visit the boat. There was definitely still slow times throughout the trip, but getting to see 2 sharks in action made it all worth it.  The first shark is actually one of our tagged sharks.  It is always nice for the biology team to see a known shark and especially to see that the tag is still attached.  We’ll be waiting anxiously to see where all it has travelled.  The second shark was a bit smaller and only made a few passes at the boat, but was still a beauty.

We had 4 different couples celebrating their honeymoon today and I am pleased to report that none of them got thrown overboard by their new spouse.  Can’t think of a better way to start off your lives together than seeing sharks!!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Cage Diving in South Africa, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book and pay online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
