It was an early and cold start this morning with the chilly temperatures truly being felt as we headed out onto the water for the day. Once on anchor and with the sun rising things started to warm up with a little extra help from blankets and warm drinks and we settled ourselves in to watch out for the bay’s elusive White shark. Like most days we had the never-ending presence of Kelp gulls with a single Giant Petrel flying circles every now and again and a few Mullets swimming by, however whilst some of our guests took the icy plunge into the cage there unfortunately were no White shark sightings today.

We extend our thanks to all our guest that joined us on the quest for White sharks this morning!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss.
