Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail Stingray

Summary: For our shark cage diving trip today, we launched in some swell with a gentle breeze in the air. During the short ride to our dive site, guests were treated to stunning views of our beautiful coastline. Once we arrived, everyone got kitted up while the crew ensured the anchor and cage were securely in place. It wasn’t long before we had our first sighting of the day! The Bronze Whaler sharks were incredible, swimming in close and giving our divers amazing, up-close views. We were also lucky enough to receive a brief visit from a female short-tail stingray, who impressed us all with her size. All in all, it was a fantastic day spent on the water with our wonderful guests and crew. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
