Sightings: Bronze whaler shark, Cape fur seals, Elephant Seal, Southern right whales, Humpback dolphins + African Penguins

Trip Summary: As soon as we launched from Kleinbaai Harbour today, we spotted a mother and calf Southern right whale! Our guests had an incredible whale-watching experience, with the bay full of mothers and calves. While we were anchored, we spotted two Indian Ocean humpback dolphins in the distance passing by our boat. Not long after, we finally had a Bronze whaler shark sighting! Unfortunately, the shark did not stay for very long, but it was still an amazing experience. We also had a busy bull Cape fur seal on the hunt, searching for Pyjama catsharks and hagfish! After our trip, we packed up and made our way towards Shark Alley. On the way, we stopped close to Dyer Island, where we spotted some critically endangered African penguins. We also had some amazing whale sightings as they moved past our boat! In Shark Alley, our guests got to see thousands of Cape fur seals resting along the rocks, as well as a Southern elephant seal that has been around for the past week.
