What a beauiful start to the day with the sunny shinning and sharks spotted around the boat straight away! The last few weeks have been a tad bit slow, especially in the mornings, sometimes with 1-3 hours of waiting till we see our first shark. We get it…it’s nature and wild animals we are dealing with thus a day out on the water is unpredictable but this morning the sharks were ready from the get go which was fantastic for those onboard! The first shark was none other than “Scarlett”, easily recognised by the scars on her head. Soon after we had other sharks making their presence known, many juveniles, before our largest shark of the day, “Ingrid”, measuring in at 4.2m and one of the smallest for the day, “Caroline”! The second trip of the day may not have had as many sharks turn up but the activity was just as nice. Both “Scarlett” and “Caroline” made up part of the afternoon visitors with an addition of a average sized male hanging around! A FIN-tastic day out and about in the bay…
