Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 14.5°C +

Depth: 10.2m +

Visibility: 1m +

Conditions: Gorgeous day with a slight breeze.

It was a misty morning and some of our guests were still removing the sleep out of their eyes as we headed to our dive site. Once we arrived, the crew quickly placed the cage in the water and our divers climbed into their wetsuits. It wasn’t long before we saw the first glimmers of a Copper shark and our divers climbed into the cage. As the trip progress, the visibility increased and our guests got a better view of these beautiful animals. We were visited by a Cape fur seal as well, who swam around without a care, and even had some breakfast while lounging around. Towards the end of the trip, we left the cage behind and went to Dyer Island to show our guests the colony of Cape Fur Seals there. Afterwards we headed back to shore.
