Conditions: Overcast with some light south-easterly winds.
The weather conditions were not the greatest this morning however the sharks were not deterred and the first trip had its first shark, “Rosie” an acoustically tagged female within 15 minutes of arriving. Two males that we have become quite familiar with also showed up on this trip, both “Sellendilloh” and a larger shark with a v-shaped nick out of its caudal fin were around this morning. The second trip of the day experienced sharks within 5 minutes of anchoring, just enough time to get our divers in their wetsuits and into the cage! The largest shark of the day appeared during the afternoon, a large male approximately 4.3m in length with some distinctive markings near its caudal fin on the right side.
