Conditions: Very light breeze with medium sized swells.

Patience is a virtue when working with wildlife, and it definitely paid off today. Our first trip began with a 45 minute wait before we were visited by 3 different sharks. One of these sharks was “3-Bird” a beautiful 2.7 meter female with distinct scars on her side. Our second trip was much luckier, with only a 5 minute wait before the first shark appeared! Both were sharks that we consider to be big sharks, one female measured at 3.5 meters and the other female at 3.6 meters. Our last trip of the day was not as lucky, with an hour and 40 minute wait before our first shark arrived. This was a very bronze colored female great white that was 3.4 meters long with a bite mark scar near her gills. The other two sharks were fairly small sharks, one was 2.0 meters and the other were 2.2 meters. I personally often prefer when the young sharks come to the boat as they tend to be a bit more curious and often stay around the boat longer. Thank you to all of our divers for your patience!
