Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays, Cape fur seal + Bottlenose dolphins
Summary: Today we launched out of Kleinbaai Harbour in calm weather conditions, although some thicker fog rolled through the area! On our way out, we had been informed of potential Bottlenose dolphins nearby. Keeping all eyes closer to the coast, we got lucky and spotted a pod actively feeding, giving our guests and crew some incredible close sightings! As we anchored in “The Shallows,” our guests suited up, and just like that, we had our first Bronze whaler shark sighting! Not only did we have great Bronze whaler shark activity around us, but we also spotted three different Short-tail stingrays and an actively hunting Cape fur seal. Thanks to everyone for joining Marine Dynamics, on this beautiful day!
