Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Cape cormorant + African Penguins

Summary: We launched out of Kleinbaai Harbor in perfect weather conditions, with excited divers eager to get in the water with the sharks! As soon as we anchored, the first Bronze Whaler sharks arrived, and our divers quickly got into the cage. The shark activity was consistent, with the sharks coming close to the cage. We also spotted a Cape Fur seal hunting for smaller mullets around the cage. On our way back to the harbor, we encountered a large raft of endangered African penguins and a couple of Bronze Whaler sharks feeding on a bait ball. Thank you to all our amazing guests for joining us today!
