Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Common Dolphins, African Penguins + Short-tail Stingray
Summary: Today was nothing short of amazing, with calm conditions and breathtaking encounters awaiting us! As the first trip departed from Kleinbaai Harbour, a pod of Common dolphins greeted us in the bay, playfully riding the wake and following the vessel. Our next encounter was the critically endangered African penguins out on the water for a morning swim. At the dive site, the Bronze whaler sharks were quick to arrive in impressive numbers and offered up close encounters throughout all trips. Warmer waters allowed for a comfortable dive as well as active sharks, with a few individuals breaching around the vessel. Returning back to the harbour, the Common dolphins made sure to offer a final goodbye! For our last trip of the day we also got some incredible close encounter from African penguins, Common Dolphins and Bronze whaler sharks! A great day on the water, thank you to all who joined us!
