Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 13.2°C + 13.0°C

Depth: 9.4 m + 11.5m

Visibility: 0.5 m + 0.5m

Conditions: sunny with wind picking up

We launched this morning as the wind had started picking up a bit. Fortunately, that did not deter the copper sharks from coming to see us. The water temperature had dropped a couple of degrees since yesterday, but they still remained active throughout all of the cages. Our favorite cape fur seal also popped by quickly a few times while looking for his lunch. Thanks to all of our clients for their enthusiasm onboard, it was a great day at sea!

On our second trip we headed back to the same divesite as before at The Shallows. The Cape Fur Seal from this morning quickly popped up and swam around while our guests got into their wetsuits. Soon the copper sharks arrived as well and our divers had an amazing time in the cage. Towards the end of our trip we were briefly visited by a Southern Right whale. Our guests had an amazing time on sea, and were not deterred by the wind and swell of the day.
