What a day for Slashfin to be back on the water! After a brief time in dry dock for a bit of a revamp, Slashfin was looking absolutely stunning in the morning sunshine. We headed out to our dive site in the shallows this morning eager to get Slashfin some sharky action that she has been missing. And what an unbelievable day we had. Although we had to wait a little for a shark we were by no means disappointed. The pictures speak a thousand words here but our first trip were treated to some stunning activity form the 4m female with a hook in the left side of her mouth. She was hitting the decoy hard and eager to demonstrate the pure power that these magnificent animals possess. Then all of a sudden we had old faithful mini Nemo swimming alongside the female. He made some beautiful passes by the cage and crept into the murk only to be seen again on our third trip. For our second trip we moved our anchor slightly, and were joined by ‘Clampy’ the 3.7m female that has the camera tag clamp marks on her dorsal. She gave our first cage of divers some stunningly graceful passes by the cage only to be replaced by the 4m hooked female. She was on form again with some massive breaching activity. To see those jaws out of the water is absolutely incredible. For our third trip, we got ourselves three sharks! Although the activity was a little less intense on this trip, to have three great whites cruising around us was awesome. Not a bad first day back at work for Slashfin, let the good times continue.
