Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seal
Summary: Another day filled with marine adventures. In general we faced some great conditions with calm seas. Nonetheless the first trip of the day faced some strong rain at the beginning but the spirit was high and shortly after the rain finally stopped for the rest of the day. As usual, we left Kleinbaai Harbour behind us and headed to our dive side within the Shallows. Shortly after anchoring our shark cage diving vessel Slashfin, we geared up in wetsuits and immediately ready to get the first divers in as the Bronze whaler sharks appeared within minutes. The different species were encountered today: sharks, seals and Short-tailed stingrays! Our beloved Bronze whaler sharks were around our cage throughout the entire day which offered everyone great looks from the sharks and boat alike.
