Trip 1
The conditions were not the best today however this did not seem to stop the sharks from behaving nicely for our guests. The first trip launched bright and early and was lucky enough to see their first shark only 15 minutes after they had arrived in the Shallows. This first shark was a juvenile female we know as “Sarko”, and whilst she may be small her personality is huge! This trip also saw the larger female “Nala” and some other sharks, all around the 3.0m length that are not well known to us.
Trip 2
The second trip of the day started off just as well as the first with a shark spotted on arrival, yet again this trip’s first shark was a small female, one that does not have a name but we have seen frequently recently. The current favourite male White shark in the bay, “Pieter” also made an appearance for this group and showed our visitors why he is one of Iconic sharks and a favourite amongst our visitors.
Trip 3
The third and final trip of the day followed in the success of the earlier two with sharks arriving quickly, with a male White shark just under 4.0m in length being spotted first before a smaller female followed close behind. The most active sharks of this trip were yet again “Pieter” who came and went throughout the trip causing excitement whenever he was near and “Paisley” a larger tagged female with a habit of surprise approaches from the deep.
