Conditions: Increasing cloud coverage with decreasing winds and swells.

Well well what a day…the conditions were comfortable and the sharks were GREAT! The first trip headed out of Kleinbaai at 9am and within 15 minutes of anchoring they had the first of many, many sharks. “Dolphin Fin” and “Maureen” turned up as well as the sub-adult female with a very similar fin to “Slashfin”. The number of different sharks we had around the boat this morning was absolutely out of the ordinary, there are a lot of factors that influence the activity levels and number of sharks, such as temperature, oxygen levels, currents etc. The number of sharks slowed down as we headed into the afternoon and the second trip went out, however the activity seen in the sharks was still fantastic. We had sharks around as we arrived but it was a little bit slow for the first half an hour before things picked up and the rest of the trip continued in such a fashion!
