Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Short-tail stingray + Storm petrels

Summary: Today, we encountered strong easterly winds at sea, but the sunshine kept our guests warm aboard our vessels! The first shark took some time to arrive, but patience paid off as more sharks followed. By the end of the trip, we had sightings of four different individuals, along with incredible seabirds. The second trip had the additional sighting of the Short-tail stingray, adding to the number of elasmobranch species sighted. A huge thank you to all our divers for joining us today!
