This morning left from Gansbaai harbour, with a fun and exhilarating trip around danger point.  We got off to a great start with the first group seeing 5 active white sharks at the boat. We had visits from Jacob, a 4 m male white shark, and Mandy, a 3 m female white shark. We also had a stingray pop up to the decoy a few times. Trip 2 only got busier with a total of 11 white shark around the cage one of which was a beautiful 4.2 m white shark came through to investigate the decoy. The third trip did one better and saw 12 sharks throughout the trip, again siting the 4.2 from the second trip who was still around the cage. A new shark with a seriously deformed dorsal fin also came through, most likely from the propeller of a boat with three clear slashes down the dorsal. However they were old wounds and the shark was healthy. A fantastic day on the water!
